Hello, I’m Kallina, a socially engaged photographer, curator, educator, and researcher with a PhD in photography exploring how photography can help us understand and see the world—and ourselves—differently. Through collaborative and participatory, reflective, and creative photography interventions, I combine art, storytelling, and play to uncover the deeper meanings behind the images we create. I welcome you to my world of HumanCamera and invite you to join me on this journey of reflection, creativity, and discovery. Explore my projects and research, as well as my workshops and exhibitions, and let’s create something meaningful together!

Reframing Family: Feminist Perspectives Through the Lens
I was commissioned as curator and mentor for Reframing Family: Feminist Perspectives Through the Lens, an international photography project involving four Goethe-Instituts, with residencies across Bulgaria, Hungary and India. Over eight months, I mentored nine women artists exploring women’s experiences of family across cultures, and curated the resulting exhibition in Sofia.
